We packed up and left for Missoula, Montana- our stopping point on the way to Glacier National Park. We picked a route out of Yellowstone and got in the biggest bison-jam we had seen yet- probably a twenty minute wait for them all to cross. V&T were dissapointed they missed it since they were still sound asleep in their bunks. It took almost two hours just to get to the north entrance (exit) of Yellowstone. This is the entrance that has the famous stone arch across the
roadway that was dedicated by Teddy Roosevelt with the inscription, “For the benefit and enjoyment of the people”. The ride up to Missoula was pretty uneventful. After arriving at Jim n Mary’s RV park in Missoula (the RV park with possibly the most flowers I have ever seen), we took a quick swim in the neighboring Jellystone RV park (no pool at Jim and Mary’s) and then were off to Walmart for restocking. Early night and off to Glacier tomorrow!
