I started the day early.  I went to the local Enterprise Rent-A-Car and dropped off the Mustang- I would like to say it was hard but I believe I have been cured of wanting anything to do with a small sports style car for the foreseeable future!  The Ford dealership in St. George, Utah had the brakes fixed on the Explorer, I picked it up and we were now back in action with our roomy SUV! We packed up the RV and left the Hurrricane area around 11am.  The 3 hour ride east to Waheap Marina on Lake Powell was a pretty but uneventful ride.  We crossed over from Utah to Arizona and actually gained an hour of time since Arizona does not observe Daylight Savings Time.  We are now 3 hours behind back home on the east coast.  We had a few hours before sunset so we decided to do the dam tour at Glen Canyon dam.  The tour was very similar to the one we had taken last year at the Flaming Gorge dam but the armed security at this dam was everywhere.  We enjoyed the tour thoroughly.  We had a nice dinner at a local Page, Utah restaurant called Strombolis of pasta and NY style pizza- great food.  We stopped back by the Wahweap marina and got the paperwork done for our boat rental done early so we wouldn’t have to stand in line on Friday morning.  A good night sleep and we are out on Lake Powell tomorrow!
